Security & compliance
A security model you can put in front of a regulator.
Enclavean is built on enterprise security principles and a simple premise: the safest data is the data that never leaves your control. This is how we keep it there.
Principles
Six principles we hold to.
Each one removes a risk at the architectural level rather than mitigating it with policy.
No public egress
Sensitive data is not transmitted to public AI providers. Processing happens inside your infrastructure or dedicated private cloud.
Least privilege by default
Access is granted explicitly and mapped to your identity provider and roles. There is no standing external access.
Attributable actions
User activity, AI interactions and system events are logged so every action can be evidenced.
Demonstrable residency
Data stays within your environment or chosen jurisdiction, with a boundary you can show rather than assert.
Isolated infrastructure
Private cloud deployments are single-tenant, keeping your workloads separated from anyone else's.
Under your control
The system is operated within your governance and can be aligned to your existing security and compliance frameworks.
Audit logging
Evidence, not assumptions.
Governance depends on being able to show what happened. Enclavean records activity across the system so you can answer the questions that matter under audit.
- User activity and authentication events
- AI interactions and the sources used to answer
- System and configuration events
- Exportable records for compliance reporting
On certifications
Enclavean is pre-launch. We work with each organisation to align deployments to its specific regulatory and security frameworks. Formal certifications and independent attestations are part of our roadmap and will be published here as they are completed.
